私は水族館で働く傍ら、海が直面している様々な問題について、少しでも多くの方に知ってもらいたいと思い、海洋ゴミから海の生き物たちを制作しています。(海ゴミアート)

海の面白さや、そんな海が抱える問題ついて、少しでも興味を持ってもらえたら嬉しく思います。

また、海洋問題に興味をもって下さった皆さんと、面白いことができたら嬉しいです！

目標は、現実で『海ごみ水族館』をつくり、楽しく海洋問題について学べる場を創ること！

I’m Kimimaru, the “director” of the Marine-Debris-Aquarium!

While working at the aquarium, I’ve been creating marine creatures out of ocean trash —what I call “ocean trash art”— in the hope of raising awareness about the various issues facing our oceans.

I’d be thrilled if this sparked even a little interest in the wonders of the ocean and the challenges it faces.

I’d also love to do fun things with everyone!

My goal is to build a real-life “Marine Debris Aquarium” and create a fun place where people can learn about marine issues!
